Internet Tips -- Have you ever wanted to copy a small piece of information from the Web? You probably didn't want to save the whole page or create a new SimpleText file. To save something short, very quickly, just create a new folder on your desktop, press Command-I and paste the text into the comments box! -- You know it's safe to transmit your credit card number on the web if there is a picture of a lock or key on the bottom left of your screen. -- Have fun with spam! Much of the spam you receive is probably from a post you made in a newsgroup. You can stop it by changing your email address in the preferences of your newsgroup program. To have fun you can place the addresses of your enemies somewhere in your signature and Spam Bots will spam that person too! |
