Help with extra balls. Difficulty: --Medium--

One quick way to earn more extra balls is to know the best way to get past those three frustrating bumpers that knock your ball out of the way. You can do this by attempting to get the ball to travel down the center Top Lane as shown in Picture 1.

The ball will usually travel straight down and past the Bumpers with little or no interference. If you have trouble getting the ball up to the Top Lane then try sending it up the Minotaur Chamber. Do this 4 times and the extra ball will be lit.

Lose less balls through the flippers. Difficulty: --Easy--

An easy way to keep your ball in play longer is to watch where it is located on the center of the playfield. Remember that the O, Y, and N in Loony are at the center as well as the R in Labyrinth. You can easily see at a glance if the ball is going to touch the right flipper, left flipper, or go down the center. If it appears to be heading for the center then press the spacebar a few times and you might save the ball. This is demonstrated in Picture 2.

Keep all three balls in multiball. Difficulty: --Easy--

You can keep your multiball alive longer if you rapidly activate the right and left flippers. Since the balls can often collide with each other and you can't always see where all three balls are at once, this is a safe way to hit them almost every time.

Install the stones quicker. Difficulty: --Medium--

A fast way to install the stones is to attempt to send them around the Quick Move lane at the very top of the board. The ball will usually bounce right off the lower bumper on the left. Then it will go right up into the Install Stones Hole.

Send the ball up the Labyrinth ramp. Difficulty: --Hard--

This trick becomes easy after some practice. To send the ball up the Labyrinth ramp and earn a multiball faster you should first hold the ball in the right flipper. After the ball stops moving, release the flipper. When the ball reaches the area of the flipper shown at the right, activate the flipper to send it right up into the Labyrinth ramp. (Picture 3)

Pass the ball from flipper to flipper. Difficulty: --Medium--

An easy trick after some practice is learning how to pass the ball from one flipper to the other. This is helpful after you've learned how to get the ball up the Labyrinth ramp by allowing you to pass it to the right flipper and hit it up the ramp. To do the trick you must first hold the ball in a flipper until it stops moving. Then quickly let go of the flipper and press it again as fast as you can. The ball should bounce off of the corner of the bumper and cross the playfield to the other flipper.

If the ball goes up into the playfield then you did not press the button fast enough. If the ball falls between the flippers then you pressed it just a bit too fast.

Get the ball into the Minotaur Chamber. Difficulty: --Hard--

This trick is useful for getting the ball into the Minotaur Chamber or passing the ball through the chamber to attempt to earn extra balls. To do this trick, first hold the ball in the left flipper. Then release the flipper, pause for about 1/3 of a second, and press the flipper again to propel the ball into the Minotaur Chamber. This is similar to the flipper pass above except you must pause for a very small amount of time. The longer you pause, the farther to the right the ball will go so it is possible to get it up the Loony ramp too.
